HTC Flyer

The HTC Flyer Tablet is a light-weight at 465 grams and easily fits in one hand! It features a well-performing 1024×600 touchscreen display (even in brighter light). Colours are vibrant and visuals sharp and clear. A neat attribute to the Flyer is the ‘magic pen’ which allows one to make notes, sketch and save as well as highlight (with one button), and erase (with another) items in various applications on the Flyer. You’ll be able capture webpages, create annotations and send via email. It may take some getting used to but it’s a fun option to add to the package.
Some may be surprised that the Flyer utilises the Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system rather than the currently admired Honeycomb 3.1. Though in addition HTC has included their own interface, the new Sense 2.1, so though the newer Google Apps (such as gmail) will not be available, Sense 2.1 offers its own version of tablet-friendly apps designed for Android 2.3.
Boasting a 5MP rear camera for photos and 720p HD video shoots, as well as a 1.3 MP front camera for all that online face time we have become so accustomed to, HTC have the entertainment sector covered here!
Available either with 16 or 32GB of storage you have your choice of either Wi-Fi, or Wi-Fi and 3G models.
